Stripey Sketch

Working a sketch at the studio today. The window my drafting table is at overlooks another building next door. Beyond the building’s roof, I can see St Philip’s tower and today, a cruise ship smoke stack 😊

This sketch might give way to a painting series or a story. I like the angular body that has flat layers of legs and feet and head. I’m also experimenting with dropping Stripey into a setting that’s just as designedly as it is.
